- Congratulations to John Palowitch on his All-State honors from the weekend of the 2/19/2005 in Fresno. John was in the jazz band on second alto saxophone.
- Congratulations to the jazz bands on an outstanding weekend at the Folsom Jazz Festival (1/29/2005). Jazz "A" earned unanimous superior ratings and finished in 4th out of 14 in their division. A job well done by all of the musicians for representing our school and band at the highest levels!
- Congratulations to junior percussionist and composer Aaron Jensen on
making it to the state round of PTA's Reflections program, (2004/2005 school year). This program
encourages school aged artists to submit their original poetry, art,
literature or musical compositions for critique and competition. Aaron's
work was chosen at the district level to move onto state wide competition.

- Congratulations to Amador's Jazz A for bringing home a 4th place trophy
from the Reno Jazz Festival held April 23 and 24, 2004. There were over 15
groups in their division.
- At the Folsom Jazz Festival on January 31, 2004 Amador's Jazz A brought home
2nd place honors in the AAAA division, finishing ahead of 7 other
groups. Congratulations to all of the musicians on your efforts and
musicianship!
