ATTENTION STUDENTS - Uniform Fittings

A complete uniform will need to be assembled prior to performing at the first football game on Friday, September 15. A full band inspection will take place that evening to confirm a complete and proper fitting uniform. Uniform fittings are to be held on Wednesday, August 16th from 4-7:30 pm and Thursday, August 17th from 5-8 pm.

Students should plan to arrive ONLY during their assigned fitting times:

Wednesday, August 16th

* 4:00-5:00 pm - Section Leaders and Seniors
* 5:00-6:30 pm - Juniors
* 6:30-7:30 pm - Sophomores

Thursday, August 17th

* 5:00-6:00 pm - Freshmen with last names A-G
* 6:00-7:00 pm - Freshmen with last names H-R
* 7:00-8:00 pm - Freshment with last names S-Z

The process is easy - you will be fit with a jacket, a pair of bib overalls, the proper size shoe, a shako, a pair of gloves (if necessary), gauntlets, and you will need to drop by the “pinning station” to mark the hem in the pants, fill-in the contract. Voila!

Please contact Kimberly Ansell, Uniform Coordinator 2006-2007, at KimberlyAnsell@comcast.net or 925-484-2847 if you should have any questions.

Fitting Day Reminders!

Please be sure your student wears either boxer shorts or biking shorts during their scheduled fitting time as they will be trying on uniform pants and privacy is a luxury.

Additionally, to ensure a proper fitting marching shoe, students will need to wear or bring a pair of black socks and bring their marching shoes. This is a great time to ensure that returning students have shoes that look good and fit well. They will be spending many hours marching and proper fit is essential!! Sample shoes will be available for “new” students to wear while their pants are marked for length.

A shoe order will be placed for all incoming freshmen as well as students who need replacement shoes. A fee of $30.00 will be charged to each student account when a shoe order is placed.

Please contact Kimberly Ansell, Uniform Coordinator 2006-2007 at KimberlyAnsell@comcast.net or 484-2847 if you should have any questions or comments about this process.

Desperate Plea!

We are in need of additional volunteers to help fit students for their Marching Band uniforms. Uniform fittings are on Wednesday, August 16th from 4-7:30 pm and Thursday, August 17th from 5-8 pm.

If possible, please plan to arrive 30 minutes early to help get organized before the students arrive!

The process is easy - just fit each student with a jacket, a pair of bib overalls, the proper size shoe, ensure the student drops by the “pinning station” to mark the hem in the pants, fit them with a shako, collect a pair of gloves (if necessary), gauntlets, and fill-in the contract. Voila!

As with all student activities, more hands make light work. A large work force will ensure the evening goes smoothly and quickly for everyone! Please contact Kimberly Ansell, Uniform Coordinator 2006-2007 at KimberlyAnsell@comcast.netor 484-2847 if you are available to help.

Attention Band Students! VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY!

If you are in need of Service Hours and would like to earn a few before school starts – please sign up to volunteer on Uniform Fitting night!

Please email Kimberly Ansell, Uniform Coordinator 2006-2007 at KimberlyAnsell@comcast.net or call 484-2847 to sign up!

We could use a good group – remember, many hands make light work! I look forward to seeing you there.

Thanks to Scottish Games Volunteers
