Director’s Report – Jon Grantham
Amador concert bands shine at CMEA festival!

Congratulations to the wind ensemble, wind symphony and symphonic band for earning a triple sweep of unanimous superior ratings at CMEA festival on Friday. The judges were very complimentary of the mature sound, musicianship and discipline of all three groups. The unanimous superior rating is the highest rating possible and Amador was the only school to have all of it's ensembles earn this rating.

Volunteers Urgently Needed

This Saturday, the Pleasanton North Rotary Club is holding its annual major fundraiser at the Hilton. They desperately need 8 student volunteers to help during the evening. They are needed to help welcome, clear silent auction items, help with the live auction, and distribute items at the end of the evening.

Pleasanton North Rotary will use this money to help the local community and buy buy wheelchairs to give to people in need around the world. Our band has been supported in many ways, from a $3,000.00 donation for the London trip to donations and bidding at the Magic of Musc.

If your student is able to help, please contact Angela Adkins at 426-7715. We want to continue this relationship so that we can look forward to their continuing support over the coming years.

When: Saturday, May 6
Where: The Pleasanton Hilton
Time 4:30 – 11:30

The volunteers will be fed and will enjoy a great evening. Thank you.

!!Mr. Grantham is offering extra credit for any student who volunteers!!
