Wind Ensemble Uniform Closet
Cherie Stueve

Ask your Wind Ensemble Student: Any special plans for that Wind Ensemble uniform as you venture out into the world from Amador Valley? Will it go to college, backpack in Europe, or collect dust in your closet? Do you need a longer skirt or pair of pants? Lost your necklace?

AFM is starting a Wind Ensemble Uniform Closet. Any clean uniform pieces & accessories can be donated to pass on to other WE students. Donations can be brought to the Stueve house over the summer. Available times & locations to try on pieces in the uniform closet will be announced in August. This is just an option; Mr. Grantham will place the usual order for new uniforms & accessories in the fall.

Spread the word to other WE alumni that those tossed aside uniforms can have a new life! Look for more information about donating uniform pieces in June.

This is a free event to watch; parents and families are welcome to enjoy the performances. Symphonic Band, Wind Symphony and Wind Ensemble I are on Friday April 25. Magic of Music Countdown:
3 days!
Dianne Jones

Let me just say that it truly "Takes a Villiage" to put on an event such as this and I am honored to be working with a group that shows such dedication and commitment.

We have 187 philanthropists, music lovers, band parents, community members and friends attending!
We have 190 outstanding Live and Silent Auction Items!
We have the most outstanding group of parent volunteers ready to guide you through your evening.

Please take some time to look over the live and silent auction items listed on the band website.
I will be accepting absentee bids from families that could not attend.
Please email me the item number, amount of bid that you want to place, and your phone number to: dodijones@comcast.net .
Winning bidders will be notified on Sunday or Monday and I can take your payment information at that time.

I look forward to sharing some champagne or beer in the Speakeasy Bar and working on our "Charleston"moves on the dance floor

Eliminate Check-out Lines This Year!
Magic of Music Update
Phil & Nalanda Bowman

This year, with your help, we're eliminating the check-out lines to settle your bills. You can pick up your winning auction items at your convenience without standing in a line for the cashier at the end of the evening.

We're following the model from the successful Walnut Grove School auction and strongly encouraging all attendees to sign a credit card slip right when you check in (VISA or MasterCard only). Your slips will be safely held and the invoices for your winning bids together with the completed credit card slips will be mailed to you the next day.

No lines this year waiting for the cashiers to tally the thousands of bid records. You can pick up your winning Silent Auction items at your convenience at the end of the evening. (Notices to the Silent Auction winners will be delivered to your tables during dinner.)

We hope to get 100% participation in this new process of signing credit card slips in advance so all our guests can enjoy the Magic of Music without the wait.
