Next year’s Fall budget will be presented at the May meeting. Fees for Marching Band will include $550 plus travel costs associated with the Championships in Southern California. This year, the total amount will be posted in June, so that those with who have money in their student accounts can have it go towards the Fall fees at that time, and others can plan ahead and budget for the amount due in the Fall. We will still hold Registration as usual.
On Monday (3/18) or Tuesday (3/29), during their 4:00 broadcast , Channel 30 will be showing the Amador Marching Band in the London New Years Day Parade.
We are on target with our budget. We currently have $4138 in past due fees as compared to $9300 last year.
Fundraising Report - Angela Adkins:
Angela has met with the event planner at the Hilton and things are going well. The hotel offered to have a martini bar open for one hour free of charge.
Donations are coming in, but she would like to see more. Also smaller items are needed, and she would like to see more involvement in donations from the students. She reminded everyone that the first 20 students who submit a donation form will be eligible to win a drawing for a pizza party. The deadline for the students to submit their forms and be eligible to win is Monday, March 21. However, donations will be accepted up until April 1, 2005.
