The concert bands at Amador are the cornerstone of the band program. Students are placed by audition into Wind Ensemble, Wind Symphony or Symphonic Band.

Each group prepares challenging and dynamic wind literature in concert and contest through the second semester, performing in winter and spring concerts as well as CMEA band festival in the spring.

Members of all bands participate in solo and ensemble festival, chamber music performances as well as earning spots in all-state and all-region honors bands.
