Lisa Lesley’s colorguard career began in 1992 at Mt. Diablo High School, Concord, CA when she joined the Red Devil Marching Band and Winterguard program. After marching for 3 years, she became a graduate assistant in 1995. In the summer of 1997, she marched in the Concord Blue Devil “B” Corps, who placed 4th in Division II at DCI in Florida that year. Lisa continued to work at Mt. Diablo High School, both as a colorguard instructor until 2001 and as a 9th grade English teacher from 2000-2006. She also joined Mt. Diablo’s staff in running an independent winterguard, Legato for two years. During the 2003-2004 school year, she worked as an instructor for the Springstowne Middle School Marching Band and Winterguard. Currently, she is a flag tech for the Amador Valley High School Marching Band and Winterguard.
